According to The Register, 73% of marketing departments report website failures during marketing campaigns!

It is now actually possible to prevent your website from crashing during transaction peaks. In stead of being met by the typical “server too busy, please try later” messages, users are assigned a number in the virtual queue, and are continuously updated on expected time to service.

Take a look at the end-user interface and our videos.

What is a virtual queue?

Queue-it is a unique, patent pending, technology.

Imagine the physical queue situation from e.g. the pharmacy, bank and citizen service centre. Whenever more than one customer requests service at the same time, e.g. by entering the pharmacy, they are assigned a number in line (by pulling a ticket), and wait patiently until their individual turn is up. The pharmacy is consequently able to serve everyone in the correct order and pace. While the customer is waiting, the pharmacist has a unique communication opportunity, as analysis show that most people are very receptive to information, when they are waiting anyway. This is the scenario, the virtual queue provides online.

How does Queue-it work?
The virtual queue system transfers excess users to the Queue-it solution, as soon as they enter the transaction overloaded website. Users are held at the Queue-it solution, until they can be redirected back to the original site in volumes, which can be handled without disrupting site performance.

Queue-it is a SaaS (Software as a Service) cloud computing based software solution. This means that an infinite number of simultaneous users can be held at Queue-it, without overloading the site.

The user experience
When the user is transferred to Queue-it, he or she is assigned a queue number (a unique place in line). Queue-it continuously updates individual users with information about their place in line as well as expected time to be served. Once the user’s turn is up, he or she is redirected back to the original website, which is no longer overloaded, and is able to complete the transaction.
